A WWYD - STI Version 1
Hello All. I come to the Subaru gurus to ask a question I'm a bit at a loss with...
I've owned a 1994 Version 1 for the last 15 years or so. After a couple of years of proper fun my circumstances changed and I put it in my garage for a bit and I drove a cheaper run-around until I had some spare cash and could get it back on the road again.
I've finally come to the very reluctant conclusion, after 13 years!, that this isn't going to happen and that I should probably move it on to someone who will appreciate it.
So to the actual questions:
Should I sell it as it is, a project (but probably not a massive one)? Or get it going first and then sell (I'd have to 100% sell to get the outlay back)? Would the increase in value be worth the cost of paying a garage to get it going? What is the value!?
If the ultimate decision is to get it going, can anyone recommend a decent mechanic in Herts (that can cope with an older car without a diagnostic port)?
If it makes any difference it's a silver wagon, has about 90k on the clock, is untampered with in terms of being modified and, as far as I remember, number 38/100.
