marshy, I've had mine on the hatch for well over a year now.

It's a very subjective thing i would say and also as to how you use the car.
Very direct action, nice feeling when "pushing on" allows a quicker more confident change due to strong spring action. On a normal drive I'm not as sure about it, and there will be a bit more NVH due to it.
It does look amazing if that appeals
I may yet revert to the STI version of the standard linkage.
Shame you are so far away or would be happy to demo.
