Default Subaru UK good will?

Does anyone know if Subaru UK do good will?
my MOT picked up an oil leak as an advisory and after checking, its coming from the cvt.

The sump bolts were loose so after tightening them I hoped it resolved it. Ive checked a month later and it looks like it might be the bell housing that leaking, which has a TSB for.

Subaru have extended the warrenty on the CVT to 100,000 miles to address this known issue but being an import I wonder if they will honour it?

The car has only done 56,000miles and even as a 2nd owner I feel it shouldn't leak after such short miles.

A couple of things from my side - how old is the car, as the 100,000m you mention (not sure where from) wouldn't be for lifetime.

Also, have you had the car serviced regularly at a franchised Subaru UK dealer, so you have a relationship with them?

I would say it's unlikely with an import, beyond 3-5 years, and with no UK Subaru history. Speak to a dealer ?

It's a 2018 model and I've only had it a year.
I hope the previous owner in Japan had it serviced at subaru but will have to check the service book.
reading on other forums that show the STB'S it says that subaru extended the warrenty from 50,000 to 100,000 due to known issues.

The 5 year 100,000m warranty that Subaru UK offered for UK cars registered during 2013 to 2020 was basically a 3 years global Subaru warranty, plus a 2 year UK add on. In 2021 Subaru went to a 3 year warranty globally, including the UK. The mileage / years of warranty is whichever comes first - so you can do 5000 miles and after 3 years you are out of warranty, or 60/100,000m in a year and then be out of warranty.

A phone call to an experienced Subaru dealer will answer your question , but I think the import side might exclude you from 5 years cover, just passed.

Subaru UK will not fix any import for free or good will and subaru japan will only fix them in Japan.

I took the car to Subaru Silverstone who cleaned off the oil, put a trace powder on suspect errors and there's no leak 😃
it must have been spillage from having the engine o or diff oil change.
