will dampers bought for a Blobeye fit a Bugeye

 

bug and blob same fitment, hawk are different

 

ok thanks CSF a fella with a Blobeye bought them. Are you still selling them ?

the ones you mean are the one that were for sale on fb yesterday
think they was carbon but they wasn’t bug blob fitment they was hawk
the Packaging stated gdf -06 which is hawk

gc8 - classic
gda/gdb - was for bug blob
gdf - hawk

 

If I remember correctly the hawk struts are shorted that big blob

 

oh dear that was me i sold them for a blob. i had bought them for mine ages ago .I had found them in my cupboard

 

the hawk struts are shorter iirc that bug blob but the bug blob type 1 and hawk are defo different

just the lenght of the strut

 

do they fit but dont lift the bonnet as high ?

 

I’ve never fitted hawk struts to a blob all the components
will be the same just a shorter strut so I’d say yes your probably correct

 

How much are they nowadays

 

not to sure I’ve not looked into them for a while but the carbon ones you sold are quite abit more ££ than plain black type £40 was a steel as there unused I think that’s what you sold them for on the fb advert

 

I had blob lifters in black from You on my 03 wrx, fitted them to my jdm sti Hawk,not sure hawk to blob will work
