Default Shaking on braking

Getting some shaking through the steering wheel on my 05 WRX wagon, seems more of the left front wheel.
Only when braking from speed.
I'm thinking wishbone bushes as the discs are pretty new by the looks and don't think it's had any bushes changed on the wishbones.
I had a JDM legacy and it was the doughnut bushes that were causing the shake,I got a garage to replace for poly ones and all was good
Main question is can I change the bushes myself.
Looking at pictures the WRX look a lot easier than the legacy that I got the garage to do.
I've changed front driveshaft before and turbo so not bad with a spanner.
Got jack's and lots of tools just no pry bars or long handled socket wrench.
Cheers

I have new metal drop links from years ago that I never fitted.
I'll try them.
What do you mean by not so easy to change......

Yeah all bushes can be replaced with basic tools,
Getting old rubber ones out was time consuming, just because the rubber binds up drills or blades ya use to remove them, then a basic hack saw is use to gently cut the old steel bush housing out, old chisel and hammer easily removes old shell once cut,
Buy 2 part bushes, dead easy to reassemble then, use as much grease on them you can.
Obviously do as many as you can and get it aligned with ya own settings.

As you mention discs are new, are the pads?
Its not just some material on the disc from the new brakes is it?

the Gen4 and newer Legacy uses a similar (horizontal) rear bush on the front wishbone as the later Hatsh, etc does and is a known issue BUT your new-age WRX doesn't use this style and in general whilst they may age they don't fail or cause the same symptoms.........
more likely its brake related, presuming everything is "tight"

As above I’d say more brake related. Even tho new looking it could be warped if a cheap disc was used and some spirited driving ! Also Jack the wheels and check the bearings. I once had a terrible shake on braking and it was the bearing / driveshaft / hub. Was fine other than under braking.
