Learner Driver
#1
I know some of you may think Im stupid and yes I agree, but, what is the chance of insuring a 20/21 year old to learn to drive in a Scooby.
I am woundering if it will be cheeper than buying a seperate car, but I don't think I could face L plates on my car.

I seriously doubt it will be cheaper. Get an old car with a years MoT for £500 and let them learn to drive/crash in that. Just for the sake of your clutch alone, don't let a learner driver near the Scoob...

It used to be the case that adding a learner driver didn't add that much at all - they're always accompanied in the car.
When they've passed their test, they'd better get used to not driving the car, as that will be a bankrupting exercise

Don't - they'll be spoiled for life by the performance, won't enjoy any cars they can afford for the next 5-10 years, and will never have the pleasure of going from a 1.1 to a 1.6 and thinking it's really quick.
