I bet its quiet out on the roads aswell , All the hype about being able to watch the match, our company have banned radios and tv's [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]. Now I aint a big footy fan but I think its bang out of order for the peeps that want to listen to it.

M11 was quite busy in the two lane stretch - bloody lorries

But after that it was a doddle

60 mins dr-dr & I wasn't pushing it unlike the 328Ci that must've been doing 130 or the Elise that was having fun using other cars as mobile chicanes & weaving in/out and around!

Everyone's watching football in the other half of the office...

 

Everyone here's watching, after my train journey in this morning I absolutely hate football though..time to replace me bike I think.

Looks like normal service will now be resuming

 

& what was nice, along with the empty roads, was the lack of cars driving around with silly flags attached to them

Other than parked cars, I think I only saw 2 moving in the whole journey

Gather that "fans" ( ) are having a bit of a kick-off themselves in the Charing Cross/Trafalgar Square area

Good place to avoid for a while methinks...

I'm glad I don't have to worry about those flags flying off the car in front and denting my bonnet, going into the scoop or otherwise hitting the car anymore.

Mind you, I suspect we'll still see a few cars this time next year with bedraggled looking england flags still flying from them.
