Hello,

Ive got a Subaru Parts store holding an STi Pink Grille Badge for me, the guy said the stars and border on it are a goldy/silvery colour, is this correct, I dont want to buy the wrong one and I said Id ring back in half an hour,

Any response ASAP would be great.

Just checked mine, stars and outer ring are silver, with pink background for the rest of it.

Is there any sort of hint of Gold to it, the guy said in the shop it was packaged as an STi badge so it must be the right one, its just the Gold bit which is worrying me a little,

Bear in mind its outside and raining, but I can't see any hint of gold in the silver bits. Mine's a 99 Sti RA import.

Im pretty sure if you put it in the For Sale section you'll get a sale, about three places I rang had sold out so I presume they are selling quite well.

By the way, any advice on how to take the old one off without wrecking the grille,

Got mine from Graham Goode it looks slightly goldy/silvery but looks excellent on the car (silver) - just prise the old badge off (comes off easy) and stick new on - sticky backing is already on badge.

 

i've seen many silver but the one i bought from hk, was a genuine (believe it or not!) one, and a hint of gold!

 

the badge with gold stars and the pink background was only ever fitted to the 22B. It can be bought as simply as any other badge, and it sint wrong as such, just different.

 

The guy at the shop said the one I have bought was in STi wrapping or box not sure which and that it was labelled Pink Grille Badge with Champagne Colour stars.

Looking forward to getting it now, I have wanted one for ages but with my wedding coming up I have really been strapped even for a spare £20!!!

 

You can get them in gold or silver as an option. I went for the gold rabbit one in japan. Also with an I or Sti or with satrs

 

How much do you want for it Chiark? I'll maybe have it off yer....

 

My STi5 TypeRA V-Limited has silver with a hint of gold stars, so maybe other cars did get them than the 22B. Maybe you had to have a quickrack to get the gold bits. LOL

 

I have a 22B badge I think which got off a fellow scoobynetter which he got from GGR

The sticker on my back window says 'quick steering tuned by STi', but alas, no gold bits in the silver. It's also got a plaque in it that says 555 subaru wrc limited edition. But still no gold bits!

I have gold wheels and gold brake disks . The diska only seem to be gold after I have washed the car though .
