Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I may be able to help you but I need some details from you beforehand.

I need to know whether your car is a 180 or a 205 model and how old is it ?

I know that you have said it needs a new transfere box but in my experience, they NEVER break. Even the group n/a rally cars use standard ones and they NEVER go bang! More often than not, its the crown wheel and pinion in the box that goes. Of course there is always a first time but I would check this with your mechanics.

Following on from the Wales camping trip a few weeks ago where I attempted to have a good time following all you Scoob drivers in me GT4 I broke (or more realistically IT broke itself!) the gear box and got a ride home via the AA. Well I've just had the damage report and it would seem that I need a new box (incluing transfer box and clutch) - only available from Japan by special order for the small total of £1600 + VAT!
So I was wonderin' if any of you peeps knew of any breakers that were likely to have any Celica GT4 parts or any importers of said bits from Japan that might save me a few quid???
