Can we have a group buy forum?
#1
Moderators,
There are loads of group buys going on at the moment, it is hard to find and keep track of them.
The best way for a group buy to be fully effective is to get max views / replies, knowing where to look quickly would help this loads.
Is it possible to have a "group buy" forum?
Anyone else think is idea is good or pants?
cheers

Sounds like a good idea to me. Also, on the For Sale Forum, perhaps it would be a good idea to put a permanent topic (like the one on the 'Was it You' forum, saying something along the lines of read the 'Wanted' Forum as well as posting in the For Sale forum. I've noticed a hell of a lot of people posting stuff in the 'For Sale' forum and the same thing in the 'wanted' forum. Just a suggestion, perhaps Granny is sitting behind a desk in school with the blackboard showing a diagram about sucking eggs, but it might be helpful.

Does seem a good idea even though i havent actaully brought anything from a group buy. Also maybe a good idea for vendors to do a deal of the month if say 20 people want to buy.
I dont know what the issues would be as they are happening any way. If group buys are not a good idea scoobynet wise they surely they would have been banned ? What about a post at the top of rules and regulations and buyer beware/ non involvement of scoobynet if yopu take part etc etc. I am not a lawyer so dont know the ins and outs though
