This matter needs urgent attention........... Its been far to long. Some of the details should have beeen arranged before. Maybe money will be lost due to members leaving or been hard to track down.
If you guys cant organize it... say so and ask for help.

Agreed this has gone on far too long (As have a number of other things).
I can only apologise and say that I've never arranged anything like this before. It is a considerable amount of money and there are complications that I didn't expect...
I don't want the money to come directly to scoobynet as we will pay bank charges, but also because there is bound to be a period of time where we can't get the money from half the people who pledged. This would mean that people had paid a cheque to scoobynet and "where has the charity money gone?".
So..
I wanted to set up another account, but this has proved more difficult than at first assumed as the bank wants us to be a registered charity, etc. and even then there is still the "where has the charity money gone" so I was nervous about that.
So..
I've been talking to Shaun and Neil Smalley about this to try to get it moving. Shaun came up with the idea of askign everyone to send in cheques already made out to the charity we all nominated a while ago (can't even remember who it was now).
That way we can either send them in bit by bit, or wait until they are all in and then send them in one go.
This is what we've decided to do and Shaun is going to organise it over the next couple of days.
