£21K for new STI7 would u buy?

Hmmmmm. UK spec you say? But no Trackstar or Cat 1? Wot about warranty, RAC, europe-wide Mondial cover, underseal, locking wheel nuts, speedo, headlights, residuals, service book in Serbo-Croat? Not much of a bargain when you take all that into account IMHO.

I new you had got one or had one thats why i had to reply.
Its very hard to decide what to get when you have something like a p1 (mega cars)
Get your missis the new Honda Civic Type R or a Skoda RS Octavia and have £5000-6000 change.

lanky, if your opinion was based on fact rather than rumour you might have a different opinion, but maybe not
Andrew, sounds like you've got through quite a few cars already, be a shame not to add the STi to the list and @ 21k +1k for tracker, cat1 and locking wheel nuts can't see how you could go wrong, although a skyline would be very nice
boultsy.

I wouldn't do it, the cars are too 'samey' IMHO That was my experience with having the 22B and a MY01 WRX. Drove an EVO6 and thought the same. I decided to get an Audi S3 to go with the 22, much much nicer inside and a great motorway mile muncher. With a chip it'll get 260bhp 285lbft..which is adequate for a second car.
Otherwise I'd say drive the STI7, if you like it more than the P1 then sell the P1.

boultsy,
Think you're being a little unfair on lanky as some of what he says are well known proven facts. if u buy an eu import you don't get a tracker and sometimes cat1. you don't get the equiv warranty.
you don't get 3 years breakdown. you won't get the same residual. you're service intervals are more frequent and often your insurance is choice is more restricted or more expensive. i agree the rest of the argument speedo, lights etc is tosh, but you still need the weigh up the above.
Chris
