Well almost

These are just some of the fantastic prizes on offer in the raffle at the SIDC Donington summer spectacular on the 7th July.

As well as being able to take to the track in your car (see http://shop.sidc.co.uk to book up), there are lots of other activities and events on the day, including bouncy castle (for kids), galdiator challenge (for bigger kids/adults ), radio control GP, F1 race on big screen, and lots of Scooby related suppliers:

SIDC
Scoobysport
Scooby Mania
Scoobyworld
Scoobyparts
TSL
Midland Impreza
Tyres Northampton
Italian Wheels
Wax Wizard
Grade a Subaru
Listers

Have all confirmed trader stands and will be there on the day for you to talk to, buy goods from (remember to bring your chequebook, as without power there will be no credit card facilities!). An ideal opportunity to meet all the top Scooby suppliers, look at the products they offer, get advice, and even buy some top quality goods and take them home with you.

It's shaping up to be one of the top events this year, so make sure you turn up early!

There are still some spaces left for some of the track sessions, and you can book on-line at the club shop.

Salsa-king is also doing some limited edition smilies as well I believe

John

John, do we have to pay an entry fee just to turn up (no track time)? (are non-scoobs allowed?)

I think the SIDC event will be more interesting than the F1

Is there going to be a big screen to watch the Grand Prix from? If not, then why did no one think of it???

I shall be attending this one I think

Cool

Everyone is more than welcome to come along on the day, and you don't need to be driving an Impreza (or even like them, though no doubt you'll be converted by the end of the day ).

There are lots of other activities and events (a lot of which are family orientated) during the day - see the track events section or the SIDC forums http://forums.sidc.co.uk for full info

There is a small entry fee of £2.50 for SIDC members, and £5 for non-members, which is just to help cover the cost of hiring Donington for the day, plus all the other attractions, trophies for competitions (concours, radio controlled GP etc).

We have had over 300 Imprezas at previous Donington events, and we are hoping for an even bigger turn out this time.

Why stay at home and watch the GP, when you can have a fun day out, watch the GP (if you want) with fellow enthusiasts, meet all the top Scooby related suppliers, get lots of advice, get some passenger laps around the track (or even take your own car out - still some spaces left!) etc.
