Chris, a completed form and my cheque went of in the post to you earlier today
Now all I need is for some nice person to donate a decent set of forged rods and pistons and I'll really have a monster ready for the 5th...rather than my lame old 81k mile piston slapper
Edited to say, 110db I hope they keep those noise meters at a fair old distance, I got 108 db on a part throtle driveby at 10m from the centre line of the car!

F*ck me so it has!!! Cheers PTMW Shouldnt I have known that This is the final call for all of you chaps who signed up originally for the top ten shootout,as I have not heard from most of you in the list,(dont any of you check your mail??)Ican only presume that you are no longer interested in taking part.
For any of you who have not heard about the day and its format the details are here www.trackdayplus.com .
I am now taking any new entries to pass on to the man in charge of the overall day.
Spectating will be pay on the day from 10 am,and will cost £8,to check on venue and facilities see www.trackdayplus.com.
Kind Regards
Simon

We all know the Skylines are going to be very fast, but maybe even the scooby owners are to be scared of the competition from the Evos, cossies and GtiRs too. It would of been nice to see how a very fast car like CH's would compare on the sprints and handling circuits. Goes to show there are not many big powered imprezas around then.

mine is in the post today, printed it at work. It would have been easier if you had a method of paying/entering online. You may think this is trivial but it does make a diference these days!
We will see how important power is on the handling course, having a bog standard 280BHP ish isnt going to do much on the straightline runs though.

Simon I sent you a mail about running, did you get it? It had an attachment which may have been blocked by hotmail...
Problem is I have a very old version of Excel (Office 95!) so I can't open the form on my PC here at home. Could some nice person send me a backwardly compatible version?
I'd be keen to run on the day, who knows by then I might have actually got the water injection running and the uprated clutch fitted!

Chris, no worries chap I won't be able to fill anything in this evening and my version of excel at work should do the job so I've mailed myself the form there
Incidentally does York have any noise regs? I really don't want to run with the blessed bung fitted the flames are so much nicer without it and, well, it isn't that much quieter with it in

latest scooby entrant- mellow yellow!
noise- supposed to be 110db, however unlikely to be a prob as only 2 cars running on main runway at once.
rest of you please take action and get the forms in!
cheers

As if a padlock and a couple of bit's of plastic are going to stop me
All I need is some form of distraction and I'll be off and away with it mwwwhhwwwaaaaahhhaaaa
Seriously though, I'm looking to see if I can get a week off in the next couple of weeks to build up my Sti engine (it just needs stripping and rebuilding...I say 'juss'...) and fit it along with the new clutch in time for the day...which would be nice...8k red line, top gear rated at 24.8mph/1krpm -1% for tyres = something near 190 odd mph top speed...yeah right....
