How much of a discount are people getting for a standard UK MY01..........

The best i have seen so far is £500 off.....

Get yourself on the Motorpoint web site as I think they have a "Special Edition" (UK300???) priced at £19 599 and usually have normal ones at £17k.

If I were buying a new one I know where I would go and its not a local dealer!

Motorpoint @ Derby only had one 'Special Edition' left last week and no standard WRX's at all. Next batch due in September. They are sourced from Ireland and have a 12 month warranty. I have just ordered one from Gibson's of Brock (much better deal all round). E-mail me offline if you want to discuss the detail.

Try Lavender Hill Garage Enfield. Got quoted £1000 Discount on MY01 WRX. Get number from subaru.co.uk.

Hi Bash,

I got a MY01 WRX in WR Blue Mica with a few extras for £21,200

I'm not an expert, but make sure you bargain hard (at the end of a quarter if poss) and I can tell you that the threat of buying an import goes a long way!

Don't be afraid of walking away, but make sure you end up buying- I LOVE MY CAR!!!!!
