Anyone know how to stop your bodywork attracting dust.It seems
electricty charged and being black, looks worse after polishing
than it does dirty.
thanks.

do something silly like keep it in the garage, in a big bubble - problem solved! of course you'll have to find another hobbie to give you that adrenalin rush??? so best just to keep washing and polishing i think
no offence intended!

i dont mind washing and polishing but it would be nice if the car
actually looked better when i finished. When i drive the car in to my garage it cleans the garage as all the dust and crap actually
jumps on to my car like its a magnet, like the effect when you rub a ballon, hold it over your head and it makes your hair stand on end.Valeters must have some trick of the trade to stop this or their job would be impossible.

Use these cloths that are used in the house. Can't remember the name but are advertised on tv. It's a sort of cloth/paper and attracts the dust on to it. I wipe the car with one after polishing and it takes off all the dust etc. Magic.
