being the lazy git I am, I applied for my year's car tax by post. I sent it off over a week ago and haven't received anything back yet and my tax has run out!

Anyone know who to contact to find out where it is? I've already contacted the central DVLA and they weren't of any use.

Not helpful, but I'm in the same boat. Sent mine to the local Reading VRO before last weekend and not had anything back yet. "It's in the post, officer". They've not yet cashed the cheque, either.
