Good to have a search! It looks good too.
It would be good to allow the selection of specific forum sections in a drop box. So for example you could search for something in just the 'for sale' section without picking up items from the muppet area or from technical etc.

Hi S,
Did as suggested and fine got 10 results very quickly. As suspected above I then went to 31 Feb which is default in a way but doesn't exist and date error message came up. So we will have to remember 30 days hath Sept, June and Nov etc. Leap years could break the system!!! David
Edited to add that of course it searches for any word in title so you don't have to remember the full title which to a PC luddite wasn't immediately obvious from intro post. DL

Simon,
I can't get it to work. I get the message
HTTP 500 - Internal server error
Internet Explorer
Does this mean my computer has got an error? and if so does anyone have ideas on how to fix it, that don't involve chucking it in a skip and buying a new one. Or is it my ISP that won't work with your programme?
EDITED TO SAY ITS WORKING NOW
It must be me and computers.
Cheers MTR

Hi All
I am pleased to say we have the first step of search up and running.
This version only allows the searching of titles but we will get there on the posts eventually. In the mean time we thought you would prefer to have something.
All the best
Simon

Kidding BTW - thanks for bringing back search (it's really fast as well - or is it because of the time of night?)

Good news but.....
It kept telling me I had entered dates in wrong format. I tried a couple of times say from 1 Jan 2002 to 31 Mar 2002. Is this a hiccup or more likely me being a thickie?? David

hmmm.. that's very strange indeed
could you try just opening the search page and change nothing except put in the word scoobynet into the search box, then click search and see what happens?

I got the date message - it just means you've done the dates wrong! e.g. I got he failure by not altering the "31" to "30" when I changed the month to June.....i.e. there arn't 31 days in June... easy when you know why
Excellent facility - used it three times today already Cheers Simon etc!
