...when you've just overtaken them?
I know we've probably done this to death, but yet again it happened to me this morning. Some duffer had just pulled off in front of me in his Citroen diesel, he was only doing 25 or so (in a 40). I accelerated cleanly past him with plenty of visibility
ahead, clear straight road, and he flashes me! Why

Once some bint in a Honda cut in on a queue of traffic, me bein the last car. She blatantly passed 20 or 30 cars before swerving in So I catch up and safely overtake her when its clear etc, what does she do? V signs, shouting, hooting, flashing lol Some ppl are just outa control behind the wheel

There is a total moron who drive along the road outside work at about the same time myself (and Dizzy) leave work.
He tootles along at 40, then when you go to overtake him, puts his right indicator on. I can see him causing an accident on day

Is that the same for Astra Max vans as well?
I've had loads of them fly up behind me (usually 17 yr old plumbers) after I've over taken them flashing to get by, then pull in and slow down again.

Cause they are idiots who dont like being overtaken, like the kn0bbers who accelerate when you overtake them. If they dont want to be overtaken, they should drive faster. I also think some people flash their lights twice to try and make you think that you have just gone past a speed camera.
As for MPV's trying to race you, try owning a CTR, I think, they think that Im one of them, till I disappear into the distance.

I used to get this until I changed my back box from a curiously loud example of a Scoobysport to a Prodrive WRsport. I now put it down to the soundtrack that used to accompany the move as I don't get it at all now.
Poor buggers, you could almost hear the "...what the f*** was that..." as I passed them. The first thing they used to do was lean forward and look up, half expecting an F16 I suppose. Oh happy days

it's just control freaks, they want to have control on the traffic behind, "look at me I'm in front of everybody" then somebody breaks the line and screws up there perfect day, they are a bunch of t*ssers. The same goes for the CLOC (centre lane owners club) bunch of t*ssers. There I've said it.

Alcazar - I have the ideal cure for you with French drivers who use the back bumper as a target. Let them eventually try and pass you just as the road goes back into single lanes, they inevitably take forever to do this. Now drop the gears and slam it. They are then left looking very stupid on the wrong side of the road

the thing is that you notice a car in the distance in the rear-view. Next thing its on your bumper. Will it over take? A resounding NO!
PS The only other scoobs we saw were English and they waved!!

Same thing always happens when you undertake people on the motorway. No traffic, but they are sitting in the middle lane doing 50mph.....why should you cross 3 lanes of the motorway just cos they have no idea that they should be in the left hand lane when not overtaking?

To my abject horror, my Dad does this.
He now drives like an old man. It's a very, very sad state of affairs.
PS - He drives a Saab

I hada white van driver attack on the way home last night. Up my **** (in traffic), suddnely he darts down a side road, hoping to avoid the traffic. Sure enough he comes hurtling out of the side road ahead of me back on to the main road... and slap bang into a stationary that was making a right turn. What a complete tit. Hed didn't even slow down to see if the road was clear. I feel sorry for the other car, but also glad I wasn't a few yards further up the road. Grrrrr.
