Any ideas how much a respray will cost. May be able to just do one side but would like to have an idea of £ before contacting people in the trade.

Reason required is that there is a difference in colour between the passenger front door and rear door. It has had some paint work done due to a knock but it drives me nuts as I'm always noticing it. Some people can't see it but it is there.

Any info?????

Thanks

Editted because I didn't read the profile - doh

Might be worth getting a quote first as last, estimates here might not be all that accurate.

You could try a friend on mine who does Vauxhall stuff, based in Northampton but I'm sure he'll know of a bodyshop more local to you.

spot on Phil, it is red. Will not get this colour next time. Even the front bumper is a slightly different colour. Probably the sun.

RED ha ha ha ha, been there done that, moved away from red because of it.

Parked under any orange street lights ???

If not try it, your car will be many different colours.

A full respray depends on several things, are you talking full bare metal ??
How much are your going to do yourself but way of striping the car.
What condition the body is in, dents, ripples, rust etc.

I would say if you get it done for £500 then its a cheepo blow over, A good quality job is going to be at a guess £2.5K

Where in Surrey are you ??

If you are anywhere near Morden try Fairlands in Garth Road, speak to Steve the owner, they have done several cars of mine with no problems.

Cheers

Unhappy

lads o lads o lads

orange street lights ARE the best if you want your car (like mine, RED) to be a multi-coloured patch work quilt!!!

DON'T PARK UNDER ORANGE STREET LIGHTS IF YOU HAVE A RED CAR!

its a good way to see if a Red car has had any 'body work' done though
