As most of you will know, I was made redundant from Jordan F1 back in March, with 58 other people
Now, finally, I've found myself a new job... with Infineon! They are an electronics/semiconductor company, and also a technical partner of Jordan. They supply the parts I was working on at Jordan - so now I'll be doing a similar job, just at Infineon not Jordan .
This has certain other advantages - I'll be actively supporting the electronics at races and tests (woohoo! ) and also the Porsche Super Cup tournament that supports the F1 races at the European races . It also means I have to go and work in Munich, which should be an experience...
I shall, of course, be taking the Scooby over to Germany - those Autobahnen should be fun .
I shall also continue watching and posting in Scoobynet too... as the only Impreza Turbo in Germany it seems (didn't see any when I was over there last time for a week - including in Munich and Cologne ).
Just wanted to share my good news .
Cheers
Richard

Thanks all!
Sorry Wurzel! No offence intended! I was just really surprised to see no Scoobs whatsoever when I was in Munich and Cologne (both big places!!) Where do you live? Maybe we can have the first German Scooby meet?
Cheers

Richard don't worry about it, but seriously I think there is only about 100 - 120 Impreza Turbos in Germany. Mot sure bout round Munich you will need to speek to Cheeseboy about that but round the Stuttgart Leonberg area where I live there are about 20ish that I know off, when are you coming out here then??
Look here for a few of them.

There is a Dealer in Munich but I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
Cheeseboy uses my dealer, his dealership is in the middle of nowhere with lots of wiggley roads etc he speaks English and is a pretty sound bloke. We are having a meet this weekend as it happens.

Nice one Rich
One small point.
The company you work for now, are'nt actually the Jordon team are they. Therefore your username is wrong.
It should'nt be re-bitten-hero as you're not employed directly by the 'bitten hero's' (Jordan)
Therefore might I suggest the names 'lightly nibbled hero' or 'not quite chewed hero' would be more accurate
