Cheapest Optimax is usually Shell @ Festival Park circa 76.9/77.9p
It's being refurbished when I called in last week and the Optimax pump was shut, so I filled up in the Shell @ Stone last night. Optimax 77.9p.

Shell on festival park will be open for business next week, according the the PFY behind the counter. Optimax is at 75.9p on the pump 
Alternatives are as chris says Shell in Stone or a dose of BP SUL at 81.9p on Talke roundabout.
BTW does anyone know where you can purchase octane booster in the stoke area??
