Mr M, how are you getting through passport control? And, I thought we had managed to lock away all our women from you Mancurian savages?
Always a warm welcome to fellow Scoob owners up here Trout, hope the same reciprocates when I'm in Fareham on Friday.

And it's not too bad over in Kirklees (where the hell is that, I hear you ask...). Especially now NTL has introduced its 1Mb service. :0)

*flame suit on* - and Hull is only 45 minutes from Leeds (if they will let me out)
Any of you "local people" going to Elvington on the 4th? Or will I be the only non-competing scoob there from "up 'ere" ?

I'm going as a non competitor, ie to watch. Should be taking my sons so they can learn what fast cars are really like!!!
They are only 6 weeks and 16 months old:

I was gonna leave the 2 yeard old at home with the wife and try to enjoy myself
Buzz
ps - and assuming P20SPD is your car, look for P4FPC 4 door in green and I'll coo at the kiddies if we find each other, but only if they DONT need changing

It's a friendly world up here, with lots of friendly nutters around...
You missed out Rum*, and quite a few others, but no doubt they'll make their presence felt
Let us know when you're planning to be up. If you're moving from London then the proceeds from selling small 2 bedroom flat could see you buy somewhere quite nice. Leeds, for example
Nick.

It was the plate on my old car, just not got round to changing it yet. Too busy tinkering with car and building garage.
Wife is coming too, so she can deal with kids when they smell. I have to endure her horsey events all too often, so she can enjoy the cars for once.
Steven
PS the cars plate is NU 51 WHD and is red mica 5dr classic shape

hey Trout, I'm in Wakey also....
so I take it you are selling a 2 bedroomed flat & buying a 6 bedroomed listed building up here then
ps - let me know your address & I'll send you the "How to cope with stress, street crime & drugs - volume 11"
pps - I have been told that this is the last book in the series as the author threw himself off a bridge due to stress, then was mugged on the way down

Guys,
thanks for the replies....just a couple of hurdles to jump on the job front then I should be on my way. Once sorted I'll be arriving around first week in September so will look out for local meets in the Northern rather than Southern section.
Oh, and once I sell my house down here - I will be buying somewhere nice - North Yorkshire looks like a quite attractive estate!
Trout
PS You will recognise my car when it gets there - it has a distinctively non-standard front bumper and an has gone Evo style with the number plate!
PPS I am also from Newcastle and so will be stepping closer to home!

if I tell you what I do I would have to kill you - and then everyone else would kill me!
My car is an Sti V - a bit non-standard!
Look forward to coming up - it looks like it is going to happen!
