Is there a scoobynet equivalent for bikers?

Kinda depends on which bike you have and your aversion to Americans. I haven't come across any decent UK based bike BBS's at all.
I'm a moderator at Gixxer.com for GSXR's and other Supersports Suzuki's (i.e. TL and 'Busa). (Other makes welcome as long as you bow down to the mighty Gixxer)
It's a good site, but very US/Canada-centric.

Indeed YAMAHA forever on my little Aerox 100 'ped.
at you dave - your just jealous its faster than your 172 hairdresser mobile lol!!
Ain't for me though - my bro' in law is/was (temporarily bikeless ) a biker and asked me if there was anything similar to scoobynet because he thought it was really good as web communities go....
Hang on - THOUGHT - probably been said before, but theres sooooo many bikers on here and we have an "Other Makes" forum, why not a Bikes forum?

I think ScoobyJawa's suggestion is a cracking one! But then I am the bro-in-law, so I'd best keep on the right side of the "Family"!!
And what's this "Could be worse I suppose.............. could have been a Kawacker !!!!!!!!!!!! " comment, eh???? ZX6's rule! (At least my G1 did) And as for my old KR1.....tops!

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will obviously only look at them during work time....errr....I mean when not at work.
So what do people have/want then? I would like another ZX6, G1 or later, but quite frankly would take almost anything right now. Hmmm....mebbe I should talk nicely to ScoobyJawa! LOL

Depends what you want to spend and what you want out of the bike.
If you want a 600 for weekends/fun use I'd go for a current model GSXR600 or an R6
If you want more all round use, i.e. you want to cover distance, then the ZX6 would be more sensible but not much slower.
TL1000R's are great value (start at £4000) and make great street bikes. Ignore what the press and all the know-it-all's say about them, they simply rock. More power and the same weight as a Ducati 916, handling is excellent for road use, although track use does show it's limitations, but you can cure that with a rear shock conversion.
And remember, the blue and white bike is aways the fastest

Keeping up the Honda front here!
With my Blade, which should be back on the road at the weekend
After a month or so off the road with a dodgy charging system
but then cannot complain from new I have put 70k miles on it and
this is the first fault.. other than wear and tear of course.

Weighs in at 161Kg with 109BHP and 49lb/Ft torque.... Now were talking 677BHP per tonne................

Oh yeah, I have a 97 GSXR600, stock except for a few tarty mods, 750 motor going in over winter.
Once the motor is in we're talking 718 bhp/tonne
