I'm looking forward (it's a looooong way forward...about a 1 1/4 year if everything goes ok) to my first car, and after considering my (or should I say my parents') budget, I've come down to 2 options. A 1993 legacy turbo or a 1996-2000 impreza 2.0. Which car is more enjoyable? I mean, taking into account cornering, comfort and acceleration?

I was almost decided for the legacy but now I'm having doubts...the impreza should take corners much better, right? but the legacy might be better when accelerating...

any comments/oppinions are more than welcome

If both have been well looked after, take the Legacy if you like performance

YOU SAY IT'S YOUR FIRST CAR , THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THE LEGACY BUT I CAN'T HELP TO THINK THAT YOU'RE YOUNG...........!!!!!!! IF YOU ARE YOUNG THEN GO FOR IT AND GET THE IMPREZA AND BE NOTICED YOU MIGHT EVEN DESERVE IT!!

 

If you're reffering to the "image" that legacies reflect, I really don't care...I've been told that legacies are made to go to the supermarket, pick up kids from school, and that sort of stuff...but if it's fast (and relatively cheap) I really don't care
