Over the weekend I did my annual bulb inspection, just to check all were working.
Anyway, got to the rear fogs and found only 1 working.
After a thorough inspection I discovered that although there's space for a foglight on either side, only 1 side has any wiring going to it!!
Probably explains why only 1 was working
Odd though, tempted to get the old soldering iron out and wire up the other one

I'll go along with Bobn3 - *new* cars only have 1 fog light to stop them looking like brake lights, but most cars from the last few years still have two.
I don't know when the rules changed (if they did!).

It is only a legal requirement to have 1 rear fog light on a car, must be offside, all UK Imprezas only have one unless the owner has wired the other in, none of the Jap imports have fogs when they come over.
