Insurance for STi in city post code?
#1
Having read about Spudgun's change from BMW 330, I've been thinking that when I can afford to change my MY98, I might get an STi 5 or 6. My only concern is insurance costs. It seems to me that from other insurance posts, purely from the insurance point of view, you're better buying a standard STi than any modified UK version.
Does anyone know how much it is to insure an STi ?
I currently pay £850 with Churchill (age 33, wife also insured, 6 yrs NCB, no points, Glasgow post code).

I am currently paying £750 for my Sti3(age 38,car garaged,fncb,cat1 alarm)although it is up for renewal next month so finger's crossed the premium doesn't go through the roof.
I did find that there are not many companies who are interested in insuring Jap inport's.
Good hunting.
