Total Speeding Protection

From reading all the links it seems as if you need to buy a mixture of devices to cover all the police can throw at you.
So it seems as if a morpheous / blinder / snooper 815 ??
Is that right...
Is there one out soon that does it ALL !!

You'll never cover them all (unfortuanately).
Luck would have it that you would install all those goodies, and some calibrated speedo cop car would tail you and bust you anyway.
The best defense is to speed selectively, and perhaps do a flyby lap of the road first, so you know there are no surprises waiting.
I use a Bell Euro 550, which has saved my behind on many occassions from Gatso's, but as I understand it, wouldnt give enough warning or a Laser.
Ultimately a Laser diffuser (illegal) and Bel Euro would provide a good defense, plus using your eyes (ie, Volvo, two dodgy geezers in it, following you for a few miles = bad).
If you keep your speeding to outside schools, or near Zebra Crossings, you should be fine, as the cops never seem to put up "speed deterents" where they are really needed.

Im admitedly immature. 16 year old mind trapped in a 28 year old body, but as its not my fault (its just how I am), so I just assume it is my right to speed and be irresponsible.
So, right foot = FUN
Left foot = well rested

If you wanted the ultimate
Geodesy for fixed sites 360 quid
Le 850 for laser(front and rear mountings) 350 quid.
Bell 550 for Mini Gatso/Radar(400 quid)
I'm informed theres a new generation of laser diffuser due out next year. It's marketed as a safety device as it gives you a read out of how far you are from the car in front and warns you if you are too late to stop, should the car in front stop suddenly. It also contains more sophisticted jamming software that analyses the incoming beam and works out the optimum frequency. Todays jammers do this, but rely on over powering and confusing the beam. The new ones are more subtle.
That then leaves the unmarked/marked car.
I reckon, in theory it would be possible to spot them if they use the new Tetra radio system. It is theoretically possible to scan for the presense and strength of certain EM bands and if they are there within a certain radius alert the driver.
Saying that it's probably very expensive to do. A police car must have a unique radio emmisions signature to normal cars.
On second thoughts, better to exercise or not the right foot and get a geodesy to prevent you being taxed by a hidden camera.

Given some of the ones I've seen, would probably work with the WPC as well

you can't beat simply picking the right time and place - if in doubt, don't do it - far better than entering some sort of twisted arms race that you will lose, sooner or later.. and have to stump up even more cash (assuming you have any left after buying all these gadgets )

Best to just pick your spots - only do 80+ when no other cars are around, don't speed too much on straights (boring anyway), stick to quieter roads. The scoob is a great car on B and C roads, and these have minimal enforcement - and 80mph down a twisty country lane is much more fun than 110 on a dual carriageway or busy A road.

I have a question on the radar detectors. If there are cars driving in front of you and a copper uses the laser gun to detect if the first car is speeding will the radar detector pick it up even if you're a few cars behind or does it only pick up if the laser is being shot at your car when you're at the front? Which would obviously make the detector useless for laser.

Total Protection. Hmmm.
I was on the way home on friday. Car up may **** (i knew the area was a potential copper zone) me sticking to 60 - 70. Looked in mirror as i passed a well known lay by (the roads completely hidden by trees - you can only see the road when youve passed it.)Big white Volvo sitting there almost hidden. If i hadnt have been looking for it i would have never seen it.
No sound from my detector at all, so presumably not scanning - just guess he was using the old VASCAR trick.
B*st'ds!!! So much for "improving safety"!!!
So - however much effort you make, the only way to guarentee "total speeding protection" is
a) Buy a "invisibility shield like Predator had or
b) Slow down
!!!!

If i can get one sorted do you think enough people would be interested in a group buy?
