Cool

Im new to buying a scooby and would appreciate some advice from them who know! I have set a budget of £13,000 to buy a car and i have been looking at the 2000 AWD model. I`m a bit fussy when it comes to colours and white, black, grey, are deffinately a none starter. My preference is for Reddish blue at present as it is the only color i like apart from the WRC Sonic blue in the P1 but that isn`t available to the normal range! I would love an STI or WRX but ive heard bad reports on imported cars e.g no underseal, hard to trace the history and high insurance etc. I`m just looking for some advice as a first time potential buyer on what would suit me best! Is the 2000 AWD Turbo a good model to buy, does this car have much Torque in standard form, im not too familiar with the different type scooby models and would just like to be pointed in the right direction. Also would you say it was best to buy from a dealer with a warranty or take a chance on a private car....Thanx Rob

Cool

Check out SIDC faq for much usefull info
Basically thou the 2000 is the UK model (up till recently) & WRX & STi will have slightly more gee gees but import = more insurance so percivviere & u will find a tasty piece of meet for £13k although that's way off P1 money
