Phil,
great news mate

keep us informed on the progress, but i dont think the police will do a thing

Dont tell them the speeds you were doing because they will probably give you a ticket and let the offenders off!!!

Good work phil

Sounds like you have some contacts in Notts
i hope the police is going to do something with the address if not you'll have to call crimestoppers and tell them you saw two armed men at that address drug dealing to little kids

Ray

PS. have you been out in your car again?

It makes me laugh why the police have not got this car yet.

If you had told the police phil that the focus was driving around with no tax he would of been caught that night.

It's ironic but the tax thing is too right!

They spend MILLIONS on catching people who hav'n't paid their car tax but cannot be arsed to get off their fat ***** when it comes to catching violent nutters!

Unhappy

thing is,the police know if they do someone for speeding or no tax they will not get a shotgun pointed in their faces.

not so with the likes of car jackers!

its the easy option to do us for speeding cos we don't fight back.

On this note, I get increasingly annoyed at the sit back and catch speeding cars policay that the Police appear to adopt.

They park up in a layby and write down the numbers of the speeding cars as they go past - I agree they are breaking the law and should be punished, BUT ...

If they did this in this case, some poor geezer in Surrey, driving a Silver Seat, will probably get a speeding ticket through the post in the near future! However, if the police actually stopped speeding drivers, and checked:

Tax
Insurance
License
Tyres
Alcohol

etc!

Then they might catch a few more dangerous drivers, maybe ? How would you feel if they passively caught someone speeding, then around the next bend they stacked the car into the back of a School minibus ? How would that benefit anyone ?

/rant off - sorry!

Phil - Hope you have some level of success, it worries me hearing about places I know - my folks live not far from Nottingham, and I drive back via the A52 to get home to Cambs quite often.

Cheers,

- Jon

Why dont we....

.... all have a meet round this fellas house as you have his location, the sight of 200 scoobies rumbling outside his front door and some hard hitting pipe ****** ******* sitting on his front lawn might make him think twice next time he wants to jump a scoob.

Mind you law would probably do us for having a cruise and intimidating behavour...

OH WELL I'LL RISK IT.

Fed up to me back teeth of these scum tryin to take things that us hard workin joe public slaves away all week for...

I wonder how long it'll be before, along with the HKS exhaust and the WRC Spoiler, we'll all be getting front and rear mounted CCTV/Blackbox style recorders ?

I recall Toad developed a steering wheel mounted camera w/ blackbox that photo'd thieves that broke into the car - sounds like a potential market ? You could routinely snap away at cars behind and in front of you, download from blackbox each week/or whatever ?

Given the cost of CCD digital cameras these days, you'd possibly only be looking at £250 or so ...

Also has a potential for assisting in questionable insurance/accident situations ?

Sorry, it's late (early!?) and my mind is withering away!
