Question

Hi all,

I've been thinking about getting a new car for a while, and whilst I had thought about an Impreza I wasn't sure. But after being taken out for a spin (not literally) in my bosses P1 I am sold!

The only now problem is what model to get! A P1 would be fantastic, but at £2800 to insure me in it for a year I think not. (I'm only 20). I have had quotes in a standard Impreza Turbo of around £1400 which is fine.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers,

Ben

So how much do reckon that one's worth then? I set my budget at 15k so I doubt I'd be able to afford it. But I should be able to get something decent for 15k shouldn't I?

Cheers,

Ben

baf

I was looking for around £17K for mine.

If your budget is £15, there are a couple of MY01 imports in the for sale section you could get for £13.5, leaving you a grand and a half to sort the headlights, spoiler and exhaust

On the other hand you could pick up a tidy/sorted classic shape for £15K. Millions in the Trader to choose from.

Good luck in your quest.

I can't wait to get one! Though I'm going to wait until after my birthday at the end of september (I'll save about £400 on the insurance).

I don't think I've ever had such a big smile on my face when getting out of a car as I did when getting out of the P1 yesterday! It just stuck to the road like nothing I've ever been in before.

Thanks for everyones help,

Ben
