Noway that is a 22b, mags are different, kit is different and i could go on. i'd hav to agree with the others, sti version 4 or 5. Very nice car

 

Its deffo a V4, newer style grill, older style indicators, lower spoiler etc.

It does indeed have a V4 spoiler and 2 doors . It must be an STI4 Type R which I think someone said previously.

 

It's an STi3 Type R V Limited released March 1997.

Sorry Steve, Im sure you are mistaken mate!!!!!

It's not an RA, its a two door and the RA is a 4 dr. Also, Surely the RA had a Roof Vent.

Its either a Version III or IV STI Type R (Sonic Blue).
If we could see the seats better we'd know.... the STI III seats were monocromed with either STI or 555 logos, im sure the STIIV seats weren't.

I was going to post a piccy of your old car but I won't now

The picture above, right at the top, appeared upon the Subaru Japan website at the same time I first wrote my first Impreza website and the infamous WRX Frenzy page which got me threatened with legal action. Hence why I mentioned it was an STi v3 Type R V Limited. We even discussed them in the pub down Millbrook at our very first meet.

Its definitely a v3 though as the v4 had a less pointy lip spoiler. See...



v3 in blue (guess who) and the v4 in white.

Have you got a 'BIG' version of the Millbrook 13 car line up?

I reckon sti 3 type r, but the v lims had roof vents (most of them) and that one doesnt!

I found one picture of a Type R V Limited (in the Haynes book) but it was the lower spec V-Limited. That had fog lights as well as small rear spoiler and a roof vent.

Neil, I remember you trying to convince me that your car was a V-Limited when we first met ;-)
