Fitting P1 Mudflaps
#1
OK I'm incompetent.....
I've got the P1 front mudflaps. Now I know WHERE they go, but I'm damned if I can work out how to get the existing plastic poppers (on the inside of the wheelarch) off. Previous attempts to lever them out with a screwdriver just snapped bits off them.
Any clues? or should I just give up & buy new poppers as well?
They would've come in handy at the weekend - BIG campsite + wet grass + scoob =

If I remeber correctly those poper things have a cross head screw slot in the middle (clean 'em & you should see it). You have to unscrew that and then the middle bit comes out then you can pull out the outside bit. It's a bit difficult to describe, but if you given a good clean you should see what I mean
Or... thinking about it, I think on those ones you have to push the middle in and then pull the whole lot out, anyway they are definately made of two bits and the middle bit needs pushing or pulling....

OK - the top one (or is it the bottom one?? ) has a cross head/philips head screw. Turn this a quarter turn anti-clockwise and the middle will pop out. The whole thing will then release.
The other one you just push the centre in and then the whole thing will release.
Easy Peasy!!!!
