I'll be at home, on my super comfy sofa (not some wooden chair or standing), a few beers in hand (no need to drive home), watching the action at all parts of the track on my 50" screen, knowing exactly who's in the lead.
Then.. when it's over I'll get up and do something less useless instead (and not be stuck in 2 hrs of traffic jams)
God you're so lucky..
(PS. Had the opportunity to go, but passed it up)

Oh and David Brown....
We will be in an air-conditioned, hospitality suite situated between the start & finish lines, over the pit-lane, with views from Woodcote down to Copse and also Brooklands to Luffield, with a huge flat screen tv showing the action and commentary from the bits we can't see Oh and did I mention the bar???
So nur

hehe, that told me..
Now if you're going to be commuting to/from the track by helicopter ( practically every field around my parents village has hospitality tents + chopper taxis for those wanting to avoid traffic ) then I might just be impressed

Damn.....I want a refund, I KNEW there was something missing
Oh well.....can't have it all I suppose
David, any idea what time we leave to get there? It normally takes me about 1 hour to get to junction 15a, I was planning on leaving at 3am then having a kip in the car when we get there, we have parking passes.

I feel for you guys who are going, you'll have to do without ITV's intelligent and thought provoking commentary, you poor buggers.
Do you have anyone to go with scoobychick, cause if you're really stuck trying to give that 2nd ticket away, then Ill come with you, and you can buy me lunch to thank me

It was quite a giggle as a child. The local kids would get free rides to the track at closing time (the helicopter only being full FROM the circuit, and empty TO the circuit)
Although their parents would have to brave the traffic to collect them !

Oh Well, tho i only got "peasant tickets" and don't get to listen to Tony "stating the bleedin' obvious" Jardine, it should be cool.
Mind you, after the Goodwood Festival last weekend, when you could almost reach out and pat the drivers on the head, they're going to look a bit small in the distance!
Good luck in the VIP box - you're more than welcome to come and sit outside on our blanket if you get bored!

I'll be there in the Vale Corner hospitality box (a corporate gift from a vendor that I deal with)with a couple of mates; anyone else in there?
We will be avoiding the traffic (apparently) by taking an "overland safari" from Turweston Aerodrome.
Hopefully I'll get there in one piece (if I'm not eaten by a tiger or something).
Neil.

Cheers for those addys David but at 400ish quid a go for a chopper ride in I'll stick to the four wheels on the ground method of getting in even if it does mean getting up at some unearthly hour
Still, I'm not driving so at least I can kip in the car whilst queueing for hours to get in
