Not for me this one!
I need to know if anyone can supply or knows anyone who can supply some large trees!
I know it sounds wierd, but its a long story!
My father is looking for some 10-12' trees, to annoy a neighbour, so anyone able to help, he knows what type it is he needs!
And NO prizes for suggesting a wood!

There is always one isnt there. Worst thing it made me laugh out loud in the office.
He wants to **** this neighbour off by blocking all his sunlight out after neighbour built an extension to loft that looks like a deformed garden shed.

Unfotunatly, the neighbour would be within his rights to prosecute your father for blocking the sunlight to his property, it is an offence (civil law I believe, not criminal).
Did the neighbour get planning permission for his extension? If so, your father could have complained, if not, your father could complain!

(60' trees won't fit in a 4dr, you may need a 5dr!)

Take care with this tack, they passed new legislation about pi$$ing people off with fast growing leylandiae and such.
I think there are hefty fines for deliberately blocking the light and so on.
He could borrow one of our cats which loudly miaows its brains out at the patio door approx 3 hours after being put outside. This annoys me, never mind the neighbours!

Buy a cockerel for your dad and then suggest he goes on holiday (someone will have to feed it though!)
Get a really powerful security light set up to shine into his windows whenever a mouse farts in the vicinity of the sensor.

Dare I state the obvious - what's wrong with a garden centre?
We have bats / badgers / deer / a barn owl / sparrow hawk / foxes / and noisey juveniles in reved up Novas - happy to donate any of the above....and Magpies....they get 10/10 for noise...
... we also have baby trees - but they're only two inches high at the moment...and probably won't be ready for a while
... can arrange for shipment of poison ivy - that's cool... brambles - they get everywhere...manure get him to spread fresh manure on his garden, works wonders for the plants but the smell for a couple of days....oh boy....

Moray,
as soon as the neighbour started to build the extension my father complained to the council, and asked if planning permision was granted. With true local council style, they proceded to say no planning permission hadnt been granted, they would make it a "high priorty" task to get round and speak to the neighbour, so should be able to make it with a fortnight. Surprise surprise it was finished by then, so they granted permsission. I mean, what easiest for them?
Moray, hes trying to avoid the fast growing type, and go for more normal trees.
JamesH, will find out, cheers
PeteT, will check out later, ta!
MikeR, grrrr...

The fact that you have posted this was probably the wrong thing to do. If it ever gets to civil court, then what is written here can be disclosed ( a slim chance I know ,but it has happened). This obviously wont help your father.
