Aye up all..

I ordered some EBC Greens from scoobyshop:
UK Turbo 2000 MY00.
Rear pads.
Scoobyshop states that their a Type D.
WRONG.
The pads arrived and they were the wrong type.
Any ideas on what the correct "Type " is?

ps. Bal = Not too good with cars.

Bal

Just to clarify this as we have done in our emails with you. ScoobyShop does NOT *state* that they are shape D.

In fact scoobyshop states that you should match the pad shape on the chart up with the pad shape on your car. This is totally possible to do on any impreza and any of the pad shapes as there is a unique feature which is visible on each of the pad shapes whilst still on the car.

ScoobyShop does offer a list as a rough guide but clearly states the following ...

"as a rough rule of thumb the following applies (but beware, it is not a hard an fast way of deciding what pad you need)..."

Just thought I'd point this out as your post reads that we sent you the wrong pad shape, where as we did in-fact send the pad shape that was ordered.

Best regards

Simon

Hi Simon

Are you aware that there is another shape of rear pads that is not shown on the diagrams in scoobyshop.I have seen them fitted to MY99 and MY00's.

To look at they look like smaller versions of pad shape B,and are very similar in size to pad shape E

I have a spare set and could Email you a picture if you like.

I apologise in advance if I'm talking bo**ox

I'll keep you informed.

The people at scoobyshop are going to ask their supplier about the types that I want.

just make sure you inspect each pad b4 setting about installing.

I had a damaged EBC red recently. It was the last one that I had to fit (DOH!)

Scoobyshop sorted it all out with a replacement set but it was a reet incovenience.

PS I thought EBC were recommending Reds (on the front anyway).

You are correct, there is a different pad shape on MY99/00. I had the wrong performance pad supplied to me which I had to 'mangle' to fit. This was from a different supplier to Scooby shop of course.

From looking through my wheels I reckon the MY00 rears are Scoobyshop shape E, can anyone confirm?

Question

Gregh

I don't think so. I was supplied the pad shape E and I had to cut the top lugs a bit. Only way to be sure is to remove them and see. I have a MY00.
