STi7 question.....
#1
Have an STi7 MY02 with just over 1400 miles on the clock now, and firstly gotta say I love it, and can't wait for the engine to have settled enough to get it on boost. However, there's always a but!
The seats.... I don't seem to get any support at the front under the thighs, and always feel on turning sharply, or under even moderate breaking that I'm sliding forward in the seat. It's getting bloody frustrating, keep readjusting my *** on the seat. Looking at it, it doesn't look like its sloping, can't figure.Maybe there just low at the front? Anyone else have the problem, or is it just my skinny ***!

Not sure about the STI7 but my MY00 RA has a tilting base so you can lower the back and raise the front or vice-versa and also raise and lower the whole height of the base. Have you got one on yours, becuase it maybe worth playing with that.

Adair,
My wife cant get my **** out of my seat so she says Get some full Harness seat belts might seem a bit poserish but will give you that more support
I ate all the pies so a bit lardy 14st ish OK getting nearier 15St so I find the seats a bit more comfortable the old MY99's were more hugging better on track but nots so comfortable on long runs IMHO

Thanks all...
As is typical the STi doesn't have a tilt adjustment, it only adjusts height. So it looks like I'll just have to invest in a gain weight diet. Thanks for your help anyway.

Well that's strange as my UK STi7 has a tilt adjustment.
How come's your's doesn't. Surely must be the same car ?
Edited to say... You're right it is a height adjustment. I've just checked as thought it odd that it could be different. Saying that,
I adjusted it up very slightly off the bottom postion (not meant to be a pun!) and found this gives some more support to under the old thighs and helps stop the slipping problem you describe.
Either that or go on a lard based diet to make the fit more snug !!
