Anyone else got a gribbly living in/on thier scoob...?

Driving along happy as a pig in s**t and I notice that me wing mirror has got a cobweb across it
I hate spiders so my initial thought was to destroy the beast at the next opportunity but when I finally stopped, I couldn't do it.
You see, the thing is that this little chap had survived a 15 mile motorway stint, Vibrations from da stereo, a car valeting and me missus adjusting the mirrors.
Hard as nails if you ask me, so now i find that in the mornings, I actually smile when I see that he's repaired his web and is ready for another blat.
Even spiders like scoobs
Anyone else got a gribbly living in/ on thier scoob?
MIKEY
I called him Clint by the way no reason, just sounds cool in the morning "Morning Clint, how are you? Been busy again I see."
Should this be in the Muppet forum?

LOL Mikey, but I fear it may be a waste of time saying 'good morning' as Clint may be deaf?

It was probably the 'music' that destroyed the web, not the 15 mile blast!
Chris
I have one in each, Freb & Barney

Not had one on the Scoob, but did on my lask car. He(she?) used to stay in the center of the web whilst out for a drive and the wind would vibrate the little mite backward and forwards on it's web at about 10 times a second!!
Always looked like my wing mirror had a cracks in it...

I used to when I used to park in a wide street. Now I have to park in a narrow street I always turn the mirrors inwards. Think the poor little blighter has stormed off in a huff now...
Oh, and I never kill spiders - they eat bugs, which AFAIC are far worse than spiders. Having said that, if a bird eating tarantula took up home in the Scoob, I'd be looking for a *very* large piece of 2X4 to blat the thing...

This is strange. I never noticed this on any other car, but I had a very large spider in the drivers side mirror of the scoob for about two months. He used to scurry out to check his web when the car stopped and then disappear inside when we started moving again. Unfortunately I (accidentally) toasted him with a cigarette but at a set of traffic lights one day.

My passenger side wing mirror is home to a spider, but there also seems to be one inside which makes very fine threads across the windscreen.
Neither of these is as bad as my old VW Polo which suffered a spider in the instrument panel (behind the glass). It died (or shed its exoskeleton or something) whilst climbing out of one of the warning light housings, leaving a permanent spooky arachnophobia thing going on - legs coming over the lip of the panel. Very amusing, and it was still there when I sold it to a middle-aged lady.

MUPPETS !
I actually have a muppet living behind the interior mirror
Mikey,
I heard it was still there coz you drive too slow. Even had time to build the cobweb before you get to work

I've just spent five valuable minutes reading this thread (excuse the pun).
Does this mean;
a) I have an interest in arachnids?
b) I should get out more?
c) I should learn to read faster?
And no, I don't have any spiders on my car, but do suffer from cats on the bonnet.
regards
