Question

Okay you've probably all been asked this one, but i'm new, so, here goes: I'm taking delivery of a brand spanking WRX next week, the dealer tells me only to use Shell Optimax but acouple of Scoob owners tell me just to use Super Unleaded or normal 95 Ron fuel. Someone please explain, i'm very confused.

P.S. Should i treat the new beast with kid gloves or let it know how it will be driven for the rest of it's life, and open it up a little

Treat her nice for the first 1000 miles, alter the cruising speed regularly and don't over-rev or stress the engine. After that give her another 500 miles of gradually increasing the abuse and you'll be 1500 miles in with a very nicely run in car.

This does in my opinion affect the longetivity and performance of the engine.

Fuel is easy, don't use 95 RON, the scooby will run much better and also faster on the other two and will get better economy as well, off-setting some of the additional cost. As to whether optimax is better than super unleaded I don't know, the jury still seems to be out on that one. I'm running optimax at the moment with no problems

You have to register with it but it seems quite cool. I think you maybe have to buy credits as well but I was only using it to look up one phone number which I think I had free credits for. It seems to be really good for searching for people as it uses the electoral register.

if you have access to Optimax then stick to it, the car will benefit.

Question

Is 192.com different from www.bt.com - directory enquiries, which gives 10 free searches a day without being registered. More with free registration.

BT directory enquiries.

No idea, haven't tried bt.com. You get a few searches free on 192 so give it a go and see how you get on.
