I received it this morning from sportingbet.com - thanks for the help. My PC-Cillin support had stopped 6 weeks ago, but it doesn't detect anything. Am downloading a new version to see if it will clean it and also looking at that link thanks.

I have just been sent an email, from someone I do not know..

the subject is dreamweaver3

and the content is:
Hi! How are you?

I send you this file in order to have your advice

See you later. Thanks

and the attached file is 186KB, and it is called dreamweaver3.zip.com

I reckon it is a virus! .com extension, just wondering if anyone else has had it? or know what it does? and just to warn u lot I guess!!!

The latest PC-cillin did detect and quarantine the file which I then deleted. However, I could not find the registry hooks described in the link, or hidden files in the recycler.

Thanks again.

There's another one on its way round that I have just been warned about called a 'sircam worm' and is dangerous as it can come in various named attachments.

Make sure you get the latest version of your virus protection software.
