Pro Drive Backbox - worthwhile?

I am thinking of modifying my MY00. Trouble is I want to keep my warranty in tact and ideally not have a huge insurance hike.
My question is whether the prodrive backbox on its own is any good (I know everyone raves about the scoobysport)? I realise it may not improve performance much on its own but I want a more fruity exhaust note.
Also I have read on here about delays to Prodrive packages with the MY01. Is this delay affecting conversions for pre 01 cars?

Wilf,
I'm looking at the very same mod to my MY00, and am in the same dilemma Prodrive or Scoobysport?
From talking with others I'll probably go for the SS backbox.
Anyone else got any comments?

I've got a Prodrive (PPP) BB (the 3" round one) and I like the sound. It's more fruity but not as loud as a SS BB. It's particularly quiet (compared to the SSBB) when off boost but gets quite loud when on boost (the best of both worlds IMHO!!!)
You will notice more urgency and quicker spool up than standard rather than much outright gain in performance.

wilf,
I've got the prodrive back box the one with the oval tailpipe (this is available from dealers as a stand alone product).
And as matt says it does sound good.

Wilf-I drove a MY01 with the £350 prodrive back box (as per Ray T) and it sounded really good, especially at idle. Also it seemed to spool up the power quicker as well.
Haven't driven a car with SS exhaust yet though...
Gareth.
