OK, so I've read all the posts about nicked Jap imports. Most people seem to think it's all hype about nothing. I know the UK government do not like us getting good deals by buying pukka Jap motors at a fraction of the UK price.
Problem is I'm trying to sell my K reg WRX (due to financial problems) and find all this rather bad publicity.
1 question. rather than spend 25 quid and possibly my motor, How do we know if our turbo terrifics are nicked or not ???
I've checked my VIN and all looks fine, but is there a chassis number anywhere else on the car ? How do I convince a potential buyer it ain't nicked ???
Please advise before my house and car gets repo'ed !!!!
