Cumbrian Scoobs

Around the area I live there are loads of scoobs . I was wondering how many of them actually use the BBS and/or are SIDC members?
If there are any we should organise a meet and use (abuse?) some of the great roads in the Lake District.

Mark,
What kind of Scooby have you got, might have seen you about. Mine's a silver MY99, standard at the moment. Waiting for ScoobySport lights (hint hint Pete ).
Tony,
It was a good meet in December, thanks again for organising it (23 Scoobies of all types).
Dave,
Hi, Millom mmm, not sure about that one . Just joking. Great roads around you.

Dave, i've got a red MY93 WRX with gold 17" Technomagnesio wheels and a nice loud Milltek exhaust. Oh, and just in case people don't know what it is, its got a big red SUBARU sticker across the top of the screen.
Why the Mmmm about Millom? Is it cos the people down there all look the same? Or the rumors about them being in-bred?
Tony. Was the meet on the BBS? If it was I must change my contact lenses......

The meet was extensively advertised on the BBS, and was also advertised in True Grip, the only problem being the mag came out a week after the meet !!!! We could do with another one soon, Gary Chaplin is starting to organise one around Rochdale/Skipton in March or April, interested ?

Wow, 4 of us then eh. Cumbria must be a bit short on technology . Never mind at least a round of drinks will be cheap when we all meet .
Hey Mark, wouldn't mind hearing your backbox. Thinking about a change soon coz I need to slow down, and a noisy car keeps me slow (seen your other post so maybe I'm kidding myself). How about a meet sometime. Where in Carlisle do you work?

Dave, the company I work for is based in Carlisle but I visit about 4 or 5 construction sites a day in my enormously powered escort TD estate!! If you wanna arrange a meet e-mail me and we'll sort it.
Pete, usually visit your neck of the woods in summer to examine the touristy wildlife
ps Noisy exhaust doesn't equal slow driving!!!

I've heard this from my mate who's had a van up there for 10 years. He calls Millomers "Spot Hoppers" for some reason !!
Anyway the Scoob gets plenty attention up there.
