#1
Hello,Can anyone tell me as i am new to the subaru scene. I recently bought a v5 sti and it is just getting 200miles to a tank of fuel{optimax] is this right as local boys tell me it must be running wrong? And what is the best induction kit to get for it as it is totally standard.

MPG is shi-te mate. After ditching the very thirsty 4.3 V8 TVR for the Scoob thought it would get better with a measly 4 pot 2000cc engine. None of it!
210 miles to a tankfull is about all I get - dont really want to work it out, but I guess it is a scary 20 mpg or so.
Life is however to short to worry about petrol! Enjoy burning it!

With my STiV5......
Hi in over 20 months I rarely bother to work out mpg as unless I leave it near empty it'll be too innacurrate.
However if I take it easy I can get 300 miles on a tank of Optimax. Normally get 250 miles easy.
I didn't expect to get more than 22mpg. For fuel economy i'd buy an Audi S4.

Cheers for the replys. I was happy enough with my mileage but was just a bit concerned with what i was getting told by the numptys that live in my area as they think it is seriously wrong. But 200 miles that is taking it easy but whos worried its all good fun.
