You've had a problem with one breaker - fair enough. But does that mean they're all the same?

I've used breakers (Grade A Subaru), and they couldn't have been better. Had the part I needed (whole new instrument panel) which turned up really well packed when they said it would and saved me about 200 quid compared to a new one. BTW, I have no affiliation with Grade A, just a happy punter.

Perhaps if there are breakers people have had good experiences with we could start a list of recommended ones?

Don't know why I'm being so fair minded this morning. Must be reading the Guardian too much

I DON'T HATE SUBARU DEALERS!!! I HATE SUBARU BREAKERS!!!!!!!!WHAT ARE THEY THINKING WHEN SELLING PARTS???? THAT WE DON"T KNOW ABOUT F*****G CARS??? I HAVE AN AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING DEGREE AND THE LOW-LIFE BREAKER THINKS I AM A BOY RACER! I ORDERED A DIGITAL DASH FOR MY XT AND THE WORTHLESS PIECE OF S**T SENT ME AN ANALOG ONE. SO WHEN I CALLED FOR EXPLANATION, HE QUOTED: THIS IS THE DIGITAL ONE, IT TAKES DIGITAL SIGNAL AND CONVERTS IT TO ANALOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I ordered some parts for my '88 Wagon from the same place, wasn't impressed with the service, or the quality of the parts.

I wouldn't recommend it m8, any Glaswegian would kick you're southern soft lad, shandy-drinking @rses anytime

Didn't even know there was a breaker that close to me. Try Grade A, they have a very good reputation on this board.

Grade A are fcking brilliant... bought a 5dr interior off them and they even brought it to my house for me.. cant fault them, just wish I knew about them before

Avoid a certain central one... as they are useless *****.. and wont swap stuff that was wrong... Painted scratched door handles instead of black ones... wrong colour tint on a window...

Cant fault grade A, Oh and give them a kicking.

Have to add to this, Grade A are a superb outfit as far as I'm concerned. Very good on the phone, quick delivery, well packaged, even had a with complements slip in there!

Yet another vote for Grade A, Andrew Gee (think that's him) is a top man. Have had a few parts from him, delivered on time and in excellent condition!

I have used Grade A in the past and found the service to be lacking....

I ordered two heads for a UK MY97 car (solid lifters), and received two heads for a pre MY 96 (hydrolic lifters).

And the excuse given was, well your not in the business. what do you know.

Some of you may know that I have stripped my engine a couple of times. Andy was TOTALLY UN-HELPFUL. **** HIM!!!!

Dan

PS. Just make sure you use a credit card, for when you dont get anywhere with them.

Gaz, I tried three times to convince Andy, but no what do I know. I only had the OFFICIAL subaru workshop manual in one hand, and a head in the other.

So if anyone wants a complete set of hydrolic heads mail me. They will be a LOT cheaper than from a breaker.

was told by a bloke who has dealt with subaru's for 20+ years that there are a few places up north where they give you the wrong stuff and that you can't do anything as they are past the border or something.
