Another vote for FR Pulleyn at York. Offered me a test drive in a turbo when I was passing on my CBR600 - trouble is it made me want to buy a Scoob I've had several services done there without any probs - good prices too

Robinsons of Rochdale. 01706 716655.
Good prices, knowledgable and approachable mechanics, and one of the owners is an ex profesional motor cycle racer. So he is an out and out performance nut, which I like.
John, the service manager recently sold his Impreza Turbo.
But he knows about owning and running the cars they service.
They also sell motorbikes, and are a family run business, that have been around 55 years.
Not here today gone tomorrow like some of the other Subaru dealers.
Cheers MTR

Excellent Thread - how long will it run before getting cut?
Anyway, IMHO -
Excellent - Simpsons of Swindon - I bought my car there
Very Good - Mill Lane Engineering of Basingstoke - they do all my service work
Bottom of my Pile - Sparshatts of Botley - never, ever, in my many years of motoring have I been so badly treated by a Sales Manager .... He was an arrogant to55er, IMHO.
As we all know, monkeys could have sold Impreza Turbos a few years back and it was easy for him to look efficient, now its a little different - he is probably long since sacked now anyway so maybe his replacement is better?? ....... Is this the Southampton one everyone here is on about??
Pete

Staff are rude and dont know the product. Refused me a test drive because the demo had just been valeted for another customer who was due in an hour.
Edited to remove potentially libelious content - an IMHO next time would be more approrpiate
Michelle.

Spose it's all subjective, but, IMHO
Beechdale in Nottingham (never dealt with the Derby crew) are top notch
Never had a problem, always willing to listen and very good in sorting out any problems. Staff are very good
Fortunately they are my local dealer and have never given me reason to change.

I've only had experience of Dennis Common of Longframlington and IMHO. very good sales and after sales, d/s window mechanism being replaced, d/s side light replaced and paintwork p/s front wing being done f.o.c, I have just had side protection mouldings and fog lamp protectors supplied and fitted £100 all in.

Very bad - Westaways in Northampton
Avoid them like the plague!. They are the least helpful people I've ever had the misfortune to talk to.
My Scooby goes to Tyres Northampton for it's servicing needs and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Osborne in Colchester are excellent. Bought my sport there and always had it serviced.
After writing it off I didn't want a new shape one, so they found me an unregistered 2000 Sport, and sold it with £3k knocked off.
When I wanted a 2000 Turbo they pulled out all the stops and had one shipped down from Carlise (cos I wanted a blue one, with low mileage, gold wheels etc, etc).
Everytime I go for a service they remember me and ask how's it going blah blah blah. Very friendly and excellent service
