By the way, wheel bearing are known to be very strong on impreza.
Very rare, never heard someone with this problem, even on some group-N car driver I know, or I'm wrong ?

Please any suggestion would be apperciated,
Cheers

If the bearing was broke it is likely that you would get a constant rumbling while driving (more common for them to wear out than actually break).
Jack the front wheel off of the ground and see if there is any slack/rattle type movement at the wheel station, top to bottom is the easiest way to check for it.
Mike.

Driving on a track in slicks will put an enormous strain on the bearings. In these circumstances it is not unusual for bearings to fail.
Kind regards

Usually you Crash !
...seriously if you have any doubts regarding the wear of your wheel bearings you should get them checked.
My brother has had 2 wheel bearings cease on him in the past (not Subaru...not even Jap built car). Its not pretty...usually the wheel locks up...which leads to uncontrolable car...which leads to blowout. etc...you don't want this.
