I managed a 13.28, crossing the line at 106 mph. That was with a really brutal start, which is why I am fitting a new clutch on monday.
car is a 98 sti 4 door with a slipping clutch
Ramair induction
powerflow exhaust - from the down pipe

Does your reaction time count towards your 1/4 time, or does your final time begin when you cross over the start line??? sometimes see a car going over the finish line behind the car in front but getting a better time???

my00 Turbo 2000 - full decat - dump valve (258bhp).
I thought all these cars came with dump valves!!! or am I just the lucky one and got one as standard when I bought the car????? didn't know a dump valve made the car go faster

As it's been said already - reaction times doesn't matter when it comes to the times produced.
In a race first over the line wins kinda thing it does.
I had a reaction of .899 or something (.500 is a perfect start, below that is a red light).

Peccy you'd probably still get a red light if you went 0.0001 after the green light as it's not possible for a human to react that quick so you must have jumped

I wasnt sure about wether the reaction time was included or not..
And there was me telling my mate that if he could get his reaction time down he would get a better time

I think from memory that 0.400 is a 'perfect' reaction time, any less and you get red lighted. that's what they had on their demo at the autosport show. The reaction times only matter on proper drag racing, where first across the line wins. I have crossed the line first, and had a slower time than the car I was racing
The 323GT-R has so far made only one pod appearance, and did 13.7 at 102 mph. Hopefully with a few more mods I'll be into the 12s. Very impressed with the times you guys have posted.

323GTR I was told by the pod that the best reaction time to produce would be .400 of a second.
At Ultimate St car i had one of the quickest of the weekend!!!
0.478 to be exact. 0.577 2nd time
Messed up the start with a 2.1 second 60ft time!!
Lots of clutch slip the revs stayed at 5500 rpm for a couple of seconds
Ended with 13.7 at 101 mph
Due to the reaction times i got i made a M3 EVO and a Cossie Saph look silly!!!!
Not far behind though
Darren STi 2

Skiddus, 0.402? You need to take up drag racing professionally
I think my best is a 0.6 something or other. Always go on amber.
On the sim rig at the Autosport show, my mate got a 0.400 dead and won the tickets they were giving away and stuff.
