Warranty.....is it worth it?
#1
Hi folks,
Just been reading the Warranty Trouble thread and was wondering...
I run a STi3. It was imported at 92K Km. It has no previous history. I immediatly got the belts done, as well as oils / filters etc. I do lots of miles and have had no trouble with the car at all. I am now sticking to the recommended services.
I currently have the AA £500 per breakdown cover i.e. they pay £500 towards any fix required after a breakdown.
I was wondering if it was is worth me getting a Warranty and which warranty I should get.

Wouldn't you just be better off sticking the money in the bank?
Most folk can just about scrape together £500 in an emergency, it's the REALLY big bills you want to be covered for, i.e. new engine, rust penetration(hide behind hand and snigger), blown seals........
Oops, I've wet 'em.

The £500 AA cover only cost £40 and can claim three times a year.
Where's the best place to start looking for warrantys that will cover imports with a less than satisfactory service record?
