Unhappy

had my new WRX for 11 days now and still can't find any mats I like that actually fit the car without pushing the accelerator on the floor and covering the boot/fuel release's

can anyone help!!!!

saw some lovely ones in Halfords (yes I know but they were really nice) Ripspeed one's - nice material, lovely RIPSPEED badge (not over the top and in your face) but the bl00dy things didnt fit!!

tried Scoob dealers who want £70-80 big one's - they are only mats!!

would like something a bit different than the WRX ones, Scoobysports want £60 for theirs, are they any good? look nice?

Any advice will be greatly received

Cheers

Ross

What you need is Autostyle. Superb quality, cut exactly for the car so fit like a glove and you can pick colours and decals and extras etc. Had them in my last 2 cars and very impressed.
Range from 40 quid or so to past 100

ScoobySport mats are cack, they last about 6 weeks with heavy driving.
The Type UK Subaru ones I have were expensive but have lasted 3 months so far, and I do 800-1000 miles a week.

I went through 3 sets of Subaru WRX mats in 9 months - in the end I gave up and got mats from autostyle.

In fact I went through the backing of the Subaru ones.

Just trying a different set at the moment... if they hold up then the autostyle ones might be going!

go cheap - buy the subaru rubber ones. No wear after 12 months, wash with jet wash, keep your heels nicely planted for driving and if you walk around in muddy places like me they are ideal. You can even just buy for the front and treat back seat passengers to luxury

Go to Scoobyworld.co.uk

I've got some and they are spot on. fit perfect around the boot catch and DON'T catch on the accelerator.

Question

You don't want the accelerator pushed on the floor?

Question

pps - are the metal heel plates easy to get on with? ie. do they allow you to put your foot where you want without sliding or being uncomfortable?

Scoobyworld have the same mats, and others with the metal on. Only prob with them is that occasionally when wet, your foot slips into the nearest hole...
